Sir, I passed B.Lit tamil degree through distance education. I can apprear the TET exam? My mail ID is

Eligibility criteria for CTET
Educational Qualification: Primary Stage (for Classes I-V)

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year BA/ BSc.Ed or BA. Ed/BSc.Ed. OR

TET stand for Teacher Eligiblity Test.

Eligibility for teacher eligibility test(TET) :

The candidate must be a citizen of India

The candidate must qualify TET(Teachers Eligibility Test) which is conducted by state government

The candidate must completed graduation in only B.Ed

The candidate must secured 55% marks in graduation

The degree shouldn't be of more than 7 years

There is no upper or lower age limit specified for man or woman

The candidates have well knowledge in any one subject in following subjects Telugu,Hindi.English,maths,science,social studies

The candidates need to apply D.sc exam

So these are qualifications required to DSC

For OTET entrance exam 50% marks required in Graduation.But I have score 45% in honors and 39.7% in aggregate. I am belongs to OBC Comunity & physical challenge person.Also I am complicated B.Ed. Am I eligible for OTET Entrance Exam or not ?

I have passed Degree in Arts 2009 without major with 43.6% under DU,Assam
In 12th I secured 47.6%.
I have not studied D.EL.ED./B.EL.ED. or B.ED.
I am belongs to OBC cast.
So, question is -Am I eligible for upcoming TET exam in LP or UP? If so, for which?

Hello sir! But those have scored less than 50 percent what about them? How they can appear for twt? Some provision has to be made?

The TET or Teacher Eligibility test is the entrance test conducted for teachers to become eligible for various govt. teaching jobs in India.

The qualification of the exam is as follows -

1. All the candidates having graduation with B.Ed degree are eligible for this exam.

2. The exam is conducted in two parts
A. Paper I - Eligible for teaching up to class 5
B. Paper II - Eligible for teaching up to class 8

3. There is no age limit

4. People already working as a teacher has to clear the exam in 02 years of time.
