TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test.

TET exam is conducted at state level by various state . Like Jharkhand conduct tet exam is called J-TET exam .So every state conduct this exam .

Central conduct one TET exam which is called C-TET exam . This exam is conduct for all India Basis .

There are two types of Exams conducted by TET :-

Primary stage(For becoming teachers from class I to V).
Elementary stage(For becoming teachers from class VI to VIII).

If you have completed 12th or its equivalent exam from recognized board with above 50% marks then you are applicable for Primary stage TET exam .

If you have completed Graduation degree from recognized University are applicable for Primary stage TET exam .

There is no age criteria for TET Exam .

B.Ed certificate is not essential for TET exam but if you have B.Ed degree then you will get some priority in Interview Board .

TET stands for the Teachers Eligibility Test. It is conducted on state level as well the central level. This entrance exam is conducted for government teachers job.

Those who want government teacher's job are required to first clear the TET entrance exam. After which wait for the official notification of the job by the state or central government.

You will have to submit all relevant documents like degree etc and along with that it is necessary to submit your TET scorecard as well.

It is important to have cleared the TET exam of the state where you want job. For example if you want teachers job in Uttar Pradesh then clear the UP TET entrance exam.

For jobs in central government funded schools it is important to have cleared the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET).

Both these exams are started by the government to improve the quality of education in government schools which was falling with every single day. The eligibility criteria for CTET and State TET is generally the same with some modification in age limit.


TET Eligibility

1. You should be Indian national.

2. Any bachelor degree which is completed from recognized college.

3. Must have secured 50 percent marks in the course.

4. One year long B.Ed degree is also required.

5. There is no upper age limit for CTET while for State TET is varies from one state to another.

6. There is no limit on attempts.

If you have completed your graduation degree in any Discipline with 50% marks from recognise universities then you are eligible for Teachers Eligibility Test exam.....

There is no age criteria for TET Exam ....

There is no limit on attempts...

One year long B.Ed degree is also required...

Citizen of India...

Dear Aspirant,

TET stands for Teacher's Eligibility Test which is Conducted by State level for the various post in Government Teacher's job.....

TET is conducted for the Teacher's post. A candidate who have completed their Graduation degree in any field they can apply for the same post of teacher's.....

A candidate who have completed their Graduation degree in any field from Recognized Universities can apply for this exam.....

A candidate must have secure at least 55% in their Academic career....

Age Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST 5%....

A candidate must have completed at least their 1 years of B.Ed course.....

A candidate must have Nationality of India.
