The choice is yours boss. But i would like to suggest you go for M.Tech after B.Tech in civil engineering.
You can do jobs as well but for getting good jobs you must need a master degree. So m.Tech is best path for you for bright career in civil engineering.

Otherwise you may go for some administrative jobs like IAS,IES,and civil services.
But better to remain in technical field.
So this is my point of view regarding your career. but finally you have to decide what you want to do.

I personally think that M.e is the best option to do after doing B.e in civil engineering.
Also there are other options like MBA in construction management which is a very promising career these days.

For civil engineers the construction management is very important one as a course to do.
You can get jobs in the Govt or private construction companies or organizations.

you have to become a researcher so you can to join m.tech on the basis of gate exam conduct by iit department.
other wise join industry you can join mba.


you can also do M.E because it is the specialization in the same field.MBA is a not related to civil engineering.
If you want to go in the administrative field then you can choose M.B.A.
It purely depends on your choice and area of interest.

M.TECH is the best option that u can go with.......u can go for either teaching or can stay as a practical civil engineer.....there will be opportunities awaiting u in both the government services as well as private companies..........i suggest u to aim at the government services since it will give u immense position in the society as well as good salary together with many perks. while studying b tech u can prepare for ies and gate.........if u get an IES or get jab in government services........stop sudying and enjoy a fruitful life ahead............

Its really a tough choice to choose any one of the course but as per the trend is going as well as if we look at the market demand then i think you should go for MBA.

Why not UPSC ?? This is a good question that why not upsc as all engineers are eligible then the answer is that there is a lot competition now a days and people are preparing from years for this exam and you have not prepared a single word and has it will be difficult for you.

Why not M.tech???

Very Very tough entrance exam
Less success rates
Number of jobs are less


Why MBA ????

1. Easy to switch job in future
2. Good job Opportunities
3. Better career growth
4. Good starting salary
5. Less technical as compare to M.TECH

Eligibility :-

A candidate must be a graduate
Graduation must be done from a recognized university
50% marks is essential in case of General or OBC candidate
45 % marks in case of SC/ST
There is no subject barrier and even Science and Arts graduate candidate can also apply for the course.
Even fresher can apply
Good communication skills
No age limit

The choices you mentioned, it completely depends on you that in which field you exactly have your area of interest in.
Like if you want to go on with the technical knowledge deeply of what you're studying right now, then you should go on for the m.tech.
If your choice is to earn a big fat salary and live a corporate life, then you should go for MBA.
And if you want power in your hands, then you should go on for the civil services examination.

It all depends on your interest and as whole you can go for MBA and for it you need to crack the CAT exam i.e entrance exam for mba admission and after it you will get good jobs or otherwise if you are interested for any other fields then also you can try for ..

1)After B.tech in civil my suggestion to you to go in M.tech. You may pursue M.Tech through IITs. You can get admission in IITs by qualifying GATE exam. You will go in many government companies like

2) Second option for you is that to go in civil services. It is also best for you.
