i m a student of 2 non-med. and i want to give exam for merchant navy but i can't understand the different fields of navy. there are a no. of forms in market and i am confuse for which form should i apply???

i just gave my HSC exam this year . Is it necessary to have a company that would sponser to get admission in merchant navy colleges ? If not then is there job assurance after completing the course ?

I am a doctor helping poor slum children in Chennai to qualify themselves higher after plus 2 course. I have a trust called "Sivaranga Charities" in R.A.Puram in Chennai. I have four students eager to join merchant navy deck cadet course.
I have the following doubts:
1. The students belong to MBC . They can not afford Rs500 for application. Is there any way to send the application form?
2. Do the students who opt for deck cadet get any degree after their course?
3. Is there any scheme by which these candidates do the course with full tuition waiver, free food and lodging during the course. They are willing to give bond for serving the orgnaisation after the course for a stipulated period

The application form can be sending by a demand draft for Rs. 500/- towards cost of IMCAT Prospectus, drawn in favor of Block-12, Indira Gandhi National Open University, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068.
The application also can be downloaded from the IGNOU OPENNET - Merchant Navy Entrance Test official website.

Admission Process
The Selection of the Candidate is based on Personal interview and written admission test. The Selection of the candidate is also based on the rules and regulation of the IGNOU OPENNET - Merchant Navy Entrance Test.

dear friend, ee is the good course you can getv good opertunities in that
EEE is such a course which is very much flexible when job opportunities are concerned. EEE students can go for software jobs as well as can attend the core companies.
software companies are like:
TCS
CTS
INFOSYS
COGNISAN
core companies are:
L&T
STERLITE
BSNL
ISRO etc
apart from these, you always have the option of writing the civil service examinations, UPSC, IES etc.

Eligibility criteria to join merchat navy is
1) have done 12th
2) have socred not less than 60% (it can't be 59.8 or any other percentage)
3) have PCM in 12th
4) age limit should be between 18 to 23
so sorry you are not eligible for this as you have not scored 60% in PCM as
well as 12th
so go ahead with indian navy by doing CSD
