Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech?
HAI
Its not the subject that matters. Its the mark you score in btech and the college that you prefer matters. I think ELECTRONIC & COMMUNICATION & COMPUTER SCIENCE are the best as they have a better scope of getting jobs which fetch you good salary and good environment for working. ANYWAY ALL THE BEST |

I'll suggest you EC the evergreen field, mechanical is also a good (for boys) and the rest depends on your interest but these 2 are best as per jobs point of view. EE is also good.

hello friend
see if you are interested to do computer related jobs then you may take CSE or IT engineering. but in recession time you will face lots of problem with this two brach of engineering. so core engineering will be better options for you. so you may take given below trade of engg 1.Civil engg. 2.mechanical engg. 3.electrical engg. all the best.... |

Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech?
dear friend,
there is nothing bad.. every stream is good.. you decide in which field you want to go.. but I suggest you to go for core branches, like Electronics,Electrical,Mechanical,Civil etc.. As the present situation of software market is not healthy, so you may face some problem to get a job in software sector.. all the best... |

Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech?
Taking any core branch provides you good career.Than to ask others the branch you should take, ask yourself the same question and take as per your interest.I'll say you the work you do after doing each branch,so that you can decide the branch which suits fine.
Mechanical-designing,manufacturing products, you can go for robotics also. Electrical-the large scale circuits in industries, rockets etc., software-programming,animation,web designing. chemical-optimization techniques, lechatliers principles etc., applications, construction of chemical plants(methanol plant etc.,) automobile and aeronautical are preferred to do as specialization in M.Tech. Electronics-you can work to design the chips, can work in research fields with rockets, robots etc., |

Dear,
You are somewhat right. IT is saturating and lots of engineering also coming up in this field. But if you are the best in that field then you dont have to worry about it So go for it and work hard dont think about what will happen after 3 to 4 years |

Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech?
why not ? I know girl toppers in mechanical engineering In fact mechanical engineering offers govt. job oppurtunities and govt. jobs may prove to be better for girls to manage both work and family. There is not much of physical work. But yeah one problem that girls find is that there arent many girls in there branch so some prefer to change the branch after 1st year. Thats not much of a problem I think

Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech?
Electrical is a toughest one so you should be avoiding it. Mechanical is also tough as compared to others but it offers good job otherwise Chemical will be best but only a few colleges offer it. And if you just want the easiest one then IT

Hello Friend
In my point of view you should stick with MECHANICAL,ELECTRICAL,CIVIL...because the demand for these core branches remains at the top for all the time. But if you insist to have some adventure in your life then you may choose new engineering branches like AERONAUTICAL,AUTOMOBILE,ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION.. Best of luck...... |

Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech?
Hello Friend,
This being great that you want to do B.tech because this lead's to increase one more engineering students to our nation. Now with regards to your query about choosing which stream in b.tech i tell you that each and every stream is equivalent and has it's potentials and importance. Now it's being upto your where you want to go.It's totally depends on your interest. What's i suggest you is that go as per your willingness don't go by others or by interest of market because at the end of the day you have to study and survice in that market. So choose in which your interest lies. Not in which money lies.I know money play a important role in life but knowledge and talent is far superior then that. |

Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech?
Each stream has got its own importance. So,its tough to decide which is the best based on economic crisis.Well the evergreen branches in the Engineering stream are:-
Electrical,Civil,Mechanical,Electronics and Communication. A demand is always there for the above mentioned branches hence its termed evergreen and even the job opportunities are wide spread. The other branches like Computer Science,Information Technology mainly depends upon the economy. When the economy falls down, even the demand for the jobs fall down.Hence these branches are not much preferred compared to the other branches. But the advantage of software side is that they are highly paid. So,each branch has got its own advantages and dis advantages. Its up to you to decide the B.Tech stream you want to go through. |

Re: Which stream is the best to choose for b tech?
Hi
According to the scope, placements and all the best branch of engineering is mechanical and electrical. These both branches are ever green branches and are in great demand in every area. So if you want to make your carrier successful and bright then its good to go for the above branches. But a suggestion for you that its good to choose branch in engineering according to your interest. Then only you will make your self a good engineer. Its right that in other branches the market demand is low but if you are good enough in other branches and have more interest in some other branch then its good to for that branch. So its good to be a perfect man success will definitely reaches to you. GOOD LUCK |
