Re: Should I join NPTI - GEC Course without any placement assurance?
hi dear,
if you are not satisfied with your job and are confident to again rejoin any job with an addition in your qualification then i will suggest you to go for the course.. otherwise my 1 and only 1 suggestion to you is you have to belive in your abilities and trust your potential and then go for any decision as after this course also you are gonna join any good job with an additional pay hike.. good luck.. do whatever you feel is the best for you.. thanks |

Re: Should I join NPTI - GEC Course without any placement assurance?
my name is Manish and i am a b.tech 2010 pass out in control and instrumentation branch with 71 percent aggregate. I have got 73 percent in 10th. and 57 percent in 12th. Will my 12th percentage affect my placement opportunities through n.p.t.i. ? Does companies prefer 60 percent criteria throughout academic career before selecting students?

Re: Should I join NPTI - GEC Course without any placement assurance?
don't go for pgdc in npti .........it seems worthless when you look at the placements given by the institutes.....and the fees on the contrary is so high that if after completing pgdc you don't have a job then it seems suicidal....so don't join npti.....i m struggling and don't want you to go through it....instead go for mtech.....

Re: Should I join NPTI - GEC Course without any placement assurance?
I am an MTech graduate (2013 passed out) in Thermal engineering from IIT Madras with prior experience of 2.7 yrs in Boilers.
Presently i am working as lecture in TFA training institute. I would like to join " POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA COURSE (PGDC) IN THERMAL POWER PLANT ENGINEERING (2015-16)" As a thermal engineer, i would like to work in Thermal design of boilers. How much effective will be this course for me and what kind of placement advantage i will get for MTech graduates from IIT. |

Re: Should I join NPTI - GEC Course without any placement assurance?
Whether NPTI-SR arranging 100% placement for these trained engineers...?(Post graduate Diploma in thermal power plant engineering).......
NTPI -collecting more than three lakhs rupees for this diploma course (one year ) ...But very poor placement record registered... NPTI -have to arrange more number of companies for placement like PSU/Central/State/PVT owned power sector , Power companies, grid corporations and solar power fields , TANGEDCO EB etc...for these students.. |

Re: Should I join NPTI - GEC Course without any placement assurance?
Whether 100% Placement for GEC at National Power training institute at Neyveli...?
Ans: No, The institute Collecting more than three lakhs Rupees (including hostel rent) from these poor students for the one year Post Graduate Diploma in Thermal Power plant Engineering course ... Very poor Placement record is registered so far... Better to not to join this course..training also not worthy one. we request the NPTI Neyveli etc.. arrange the Campus interview for these trained Engineers from Leading power PSU/State/Central power institutes, other leading PVT power sectors. .... |

Re: Should I join NPTI - GEC Course without any placement assurance?
It is total waste, waste of money, wate of time , No placement gaurantee , they collecting more than three lakhs rupees for one year GEC including hostel fees,
They have to (NTPI) put more efforts to get the placement for these trained engineers, they have to approach, state, central, thermal power public sector companies for placement , they can go for even state owned power companies ,but they simply making money .... sangu |
