my height is 153cm.am i eligible for airhostess?

Am i eligible to be an air hostess if my height is 154cm ?

The eligibility criteria can be summarized as below
Age: 18 – 26
Qualification: Minimum +2 or a hotel management degree or a graduate degree
Height: 157.5 cms (without slippers or shoes)
Weight: in proportion with height
Marital status: Unmarried
Complexion: Fair to clear
Normal eyesight: No specs (6/24 - uncorrected normal vision (distant) in each eye)

There is no minimum or fix marks you should have in order to apply for this post.

Since you are not eligible due to your hight for airhostess. You can work on ground.

Yes, you have a chance to become an Air-hostess.

The physical eligibility is as follows,

For an 18-year-old
height of 152 cm,
weight is 50 kg

For age group of 26 to 30
height of 152 cm,
weight limit is 56 kg.

i have completed my diploma n automobile engineering and i have three arrears still.. am i elligible ?

* Age should below 25 years.

* Height should be at least 154.5-157.5 cms

the following are the essential qualities to become air hostess they are:
1)good personality-minimum height of 157...
2)strong work ethic-should be hard-working , active and diligent
3) Excellent Service Orientation-A perfect Air hostess should be active and wise in all her works
4)Intelligence-With good personality, smart looks, well dressed and smell nice like qualities, she should be wise and intelligent. She should know how to deal with infants, child, adults and old people.
5)Patience-An air hostess should be cool, cheerful and must have patience
Most importantly - SMILE on face ... these are the minimum qualities to become air hostess if your having these above qualities so,i think the height your having is not a big problem...

Since you have just 153cm height, you are not eligible for air hostess.

For becoming air hostess, you need to have following eligibility,

You should have done atleast 12th class
your age should be 18-26 years
you height should be atleast 157.5 cm
good communication skills
fair and clear complexion
unmarried and good eye sight.

Since you have 153cm height as against 157.5cm as mentioned in eligibility, you are not eligible for air hostess training.

I have got the admission in aviation, hospitality and travel course.my height is 153cm.I have a clear complexion. Languages known is English and Hindi.
My interest is to become a cabin crew.I have gone through various articles they say that minimum required height is 157 cm.I am really worried please let me know can I get the job for cabincrew with the given height.most importantly I have paid a huge amount for the course and I don't want it to go waste.

I am sorry to say but the minimum height suggested to be an air hostess and accepted by almost all the airlines is 157.5 cms which is 5.1 inches.
Though there are some airlines that may look beyond height and see your qualification and/or fluency in English or Hindi depending upon the airline.
You must also have a very good eyesight correctable up to 6/9 atleast.

If you can reach a mark of 212 cm on your tip toes then it's not a problem. The reason for this requirement is that the overhead bins and stowage compartments are at a height of 212 cm. Hence the companies want to make sure that the crew should be readily able to reach them whenever needed.
Most airlines require you to be no shorter than 5 ft. 2 in. and no taller than 6ft 3in. If you are not that tall then you need not to worry.
