Eligibility criteria for SBI bank PO(probationary officer) examination

* Candidates should be the citizen of India.
* Candidates should have age limit within 21 to 30 years.
* Relaxation for OBC is 3 years and for SC/ST is 5 years.
* Candidates should be a graduate from a recognized university.
* Candidates should have at least 55% at graduation.
* You should be a final year candidates to appear for the exam.
* You must know some basic computer knowledge.

for appear in this examination ,a candidate must possess graduation degree in any stream ,& have scored at least 55%.
also the candidate must have scored at least 60% in 12th class.

the age limit for this examination is 21-30,
there are 5 & 3 years of age relaxations are applicable for SC\ST & OBC candidates respectively.
i.e.

Every year SBI conducts the PO examination.for appear in this examination you must have at least a graduation degree from a recognized college.
also you must have to score at least 55% in graduation,.and at least 60% in 12th.

the age limit for the general candidate is 21-30 years,.The age limit for this examination ere are 5 & 3 years of age relaxations are applicable for the SC\ST & OBC [NON-CREAMY LAYER],.
i.e,
21-33 years for the OBC candidates,
21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates,.

yes you can get the bank jobs at the age of 29.......

you can only apply for bank PO exams but you can't apply for the bank
clerk exam now, because the age eligibility for bank clerk is 18-28 years,
but the eligibility for bank PO is;

>>you should be graduate from any recognized university
>>your age should be between 21-30 years

upper age relaxation is also given as per the government rule

as you are 29 years old so you can apply for only bank PO exam......

Eligibility for SBI PO Exam:-


1.A candidate must be graduate from recognized university or post graduate from a recognized university.
2.Age limit minimum 21 years & maximum 30 years
3.Age relaxation is same for PO as clerk
4.Computer knowledge & English language should know.

Exam pattern of SBI PO exam:-

1.There will be 5 sections namely:-REASONING,APTITUDE,ENGLISH,GENERAL AWARENESS & COMPUTER/MARKETING AWARENESS.
2.In every sections you will get 40 questions of 40 marks means 200 questions of 200 marks.
3.Duration of exam will be 120 minutes.
4.This paper will be objective.
5.You will also get descriptive paper of 50 marks.Total, questions will be 5 & duration of exam 60 minutes.
6.To qualify for interview one needs to score 50% in each of the sections as well as also in descriptive paper.
7.There will be negative marking also,for every wrong answer 0.25marks will be deducted.
8.If a candidate score 50% or above even after deducting negative marking will call for interview.

You can apply for SBI po exam.You are eligible for that.
But right there is no news for SBI po exam but soon there will be may be June 2012.
