Re: Am I eligible for PO Exams having scored 56% in Graduation and 62% in Post Graduation?
I wonder why do you want to appear for Bank PO being a post graduate candidate. If you had mentioned your degree course, I could have suggested something better. In any case you are eligible for the Bank PO Exam.
However I am not entirely sure whether you should appear for it. You are also eligible for another exam called National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted for lecturer job in government colleges. You can also consider appear for NET exam. It would make sense to appear for NET being a post graduation degree holder. The exam is conducted twice a year by University Grants Commission. NET Eligibility 1. A post graduation degree in any discipline. 2. Minimum of 55 percent marks are required. 3. SC/ST candidates require 50 percent marks. 4. Your NET subject should be relevant to your PG degree. 5. There is no upper age limit for College Lectureship. 6. There is no restriction of number of attempts. Like I mentioned earlier that you are eligible for the IBPS Bank PO Exam as well. You should be less than 30 years old to apply for it.The next Bank PO exam will be conducted in June 2013. Below is the eligibility criteria. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. You should be citizen of India to apply. 2. A graduation degree in any discipline. 3. There is no minimum percentage criteria. 4. The age limit for the Bank PO is 20 to 30 years. 5. The age limit for OBC is relaxed by 3 years. 6. The age limit for SC/ST is relaxed by 5 years. |
