sir,
I am a karnataka state student and also a kannadiga, I have studied till 10th std in State board syllabubs in Bangalore. I went to Singapore under global international school scholarship program for studying 11th and 12th std. in CBSE syllabus. Now I am studying in 12 th std. in Singapore. sir if a student is out of state student but his parents have studied more than 10 years in Karnataka whether he will be considered a Karnataka student or out of state student..... and what are the procedures for out of state student to apply for KCET 2012

Dear sir,
I planned to shift to bangalore on job change. My son completed studies from class 3 to class 8 in Andhra Preadsh in KV. From 9th to 12 th Standard I planned to shift him to any KV at bangalore. Is my soon eligibale as local candidate for Andhra eamcet medical? I am basically from Andhra Pradesh since my birth. Please reply to my email id [email protected] |

Sir, My daughter studied upto 6th Std. at Bangalore and after that we came to Bahrain, now she completed her 10th std. Is she eligible to appear for CET at Karnataka if she do her 11th & 12th Over here. Please reply to my e-mail

The eligibility criteria of CET exam in karnataka.
The candidate must be passed in education qualified government of karnataka. The candidate should be passed in 7th standard. So dont worry. All the best. |

Qualification Criteria Karnataka CET:
Admission Criteria For Engineering / Technology courses: 1.) The Karnataka CET applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th Std. or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects. 2.) He should secure a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination irrespective of the common entrance test. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes should score minimum of 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects. KCET - Karnataka Common Entrance Test The following eligibility criteria are required for KCET, then you can apply for KCET : ~> For Engineering : You should have passed 12th or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Mathematics and the subjects Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Biology with a minimum of 45 % aggregate marks in option subjects ( for SC/ST/OBC - 40 %). ~> For Architecture : You should have passed 12th or equivalent examination with Mathematics with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in all subjects. ( for ST/SC/OBC - 45 %). > You should have also appeared in NATA and got a minimum of 40 % marks in it. ~> For Medical / Dental : You should have passed 12th or equivalent examingation with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with atleast 50 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
