Congratulations.You have got wonderful percentage in GATE.In my view IISc(Indian Institute of Technolgy) has strong research areas in Electrial Deapartment.From last 4 years many of the top rankers perfer to join in IISc in Electrical Department.The placementwise also it is in top place.
Some of the other IIT's also have strong Electrical Department like IIT Bombay,IIT Kharugpur,IIT Delhi.In many of NIT'S colleges also has strong electrical Department like NIT Warangal,NIT Surath,
IIIT Hyderbad.In JNTU Hyderbad also has strong electrical Department.I think you will easily get seat
in IIT's go for either IISc or IIT Bombay,if you won't get then give preference to IIT Delhi,IIT Kharugpur.Many of the other central universities also has strong electrical Department.
