Re: Is admission in B.Ed course Merit Based or Entrance Based?
Hello,
There are many colleges offering B.Ed degree in India. While the minimum eligibility states that a candidate must be a graduate with 55% aggregate in graduation. However with many colleges, eligibility may vary. Most of the esteemed universities such as the IGNOU(indira gandhi national open university) have an entrance test for admission to its B.Ed program. While others admit on the basis of merit also. Age no bar. For details regarding IGNOU as mentioned above please visit the following link for details: http://www.indiastudycenter.com/univ...u/ignoubed.asp Feel free to ask for more help. Good Luck! |

Re: Is admission in B.Ed course Merit Based or Entrance Based?
hi!
Admission to the B.Ed course will be Merit Based or Entrance Based, it depends on the institute which you are approaching. Most of the institutes offer admission to the course on the basis of candidate's performance in entrance exam. For appearing in B.Ed entrance exam the minimum educational requirement in almost all the top colleges/universities like Lucknow university,Ahmedabad university is a graduate degree from a recognised university with at least 50% marks for general candidates & 45% marks for SC/ST candidates. Some private institutes select candidates directly on the basis of their performance in qualifying exam. For this you need to have an excellent academic record. |
