yeah for diploma holder there are opportunity available in air-force for IAF Air Man.
In AIR man in technical field for that you have to clear initial screening and after clearing this they will assign you in different fields under category 'X','Y','Z'.

AND your work involves the maintenance and testing of aircraft and flying related equipment.'

*IAF branch

NDA exam

then if you qualify these exam then you entry in airforce

After completion of Mechanical diploma you want to join in Indian Air force..

Then you have to appear in NDA exam..

Through NDA exam you can apply for Indian Air Force..

Your age should be in between 16.5-19 years..

If you fulfill the criteria then you can apply for NDA exam..

There are some selection procedure such as:

Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

Generally,the notice is published in the month of March and September every year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age:

i)19 to 23 years

ii)19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.

Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

Marital Status:

You have to be Single.

Nationality:

You have to be Indian

Gender:

Men and women can apply for the examination.

Educational Qualifications

1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

2. Final year students can also apply,having no backlog and minimum 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year's semesters.

Yes,you can join the Indian air force after the completion of mechanical diploma degree.But you have to the engineering in aeronautical engineering you will easily get higher position in air force

There are various fields for mechanical diploma candidates as follows:

Flying branch

It is not possible for you to join the Indian Air force after diploma.

Because you can join through the NDA exam but for NDA exam you must have passed 12th from a recognized school and you age must lies in between 16.5-19 years.

You must have physics and maths in your 12th class which is compulsory for The Air Force.

So you can not apply for the NDA exam.

But you can apply for the CDS exam after Graduation.

by this exam you can join the Air Force but you must have bachelor degree in engineering or bachelor degree in science for this exam and your age must be in between 19-23 years.

Yes you can join India Air Force if you have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering qualification.

You are eligible for Group X Technical Trade with this qualification and you must fulfill age criteria also for applying.

Age must be between 17.5 to 21 years of age for this entry scheme in Indian Air Force.

Hey friend,

Having Completed Diploma which has the value of +2 you are eligible for the exam.

The procedure for you joining in Indian Air Force which is a Defence force of India with this qualification is that you need to write the entrance exam for it and the exam which you can write is the NDA Exam

This exam offers candidate to join in Defence forces of India and is conducted by UPSC and held every year as NDA I and NDA II.

The candidate is selected for NDA through 3 stages namely:

• Written Test
• SSB Interview
• Medical Test

If you are going to satisfy all these then you can join in the force

But before that you need to satisfy the framed criteira for the exam for applying for the exam and as you have satisfied the education qualification which is needed,there are certain other qualification which you need to satisfy and they are:

~ The candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India

~ The Martial Status for the exam is that the candidate must be a Unmarried male candidate

~ The age limit which is needed for the exam is 16 1/2-19 years of age

~ The candidate appearing for the exam must be Physically fit.


If you tend to satisfy all these frmaed criteria for the exam then you can apply for the NDA Exam to join in IAF.
