Dear sir I wants to know is there any age limit ito write gate exams.if is there any age limit ,please send details.

You have not specified what your educational background is. The minimum eligibility for appearing for the GATE exam is an engineering graduation. There is no age limit for appearing the GATE exam. There is no restriction on the number of attempts in case of the GATE exam. The GATE exam score is valid for a period of 2 years.

my college is not approved by the AICTE COUNCIL so can i appear the GATE exam and after passing this exam can i get admission in any govt. or private college plz help me?

Eligibility For GATE

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is conducted every year for admissions to M.Tech courses to various top level colleges like IITs,NITs,BITS,etc..

The importance of GATE has significantly increased now as most of the PSUs (Public Sector Units) are also now recruiting on the basis of the GATE score..

Eligibility Criterion :-

1) Candidates in the final year of B.Tech in any branch or who have already passed out their engineering can appear for the exam..

2) Candidates possessing dual degree or having completed their M.Sc, are also applicable..

There is no age restriction neither there is any limit to the number of attempts..a candidate can appear for the GATE exam..

Pre-final year candidates are not eligible for appearing in GATE..

There is no age limit for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test Examination). A candidate may appear in this examination as their wish.

This year the GATE examination is held on 12th February,2012 and the result will be declared 15th March,2012. So please try it in the next year.

The Graduate Aptitude test in engineering is an important examination which is primarily conducted for getting the candidates selected for the M.Tech courses. The candidates have to fulfill the following criteria’s to attend the Graduate Aptitude test in engineering –
• The candidates should have completed the four year engineering graduation after completing the 12th class. The candidates should have taken the engineering from a recognized university or college.
• The candidates who are in the final year or pre- final year of engineering are also eligible to apply for the GATE exam.
• The candidates should have completed the engineering recognized universities.
• The candidates who have completed the master’s degree in engineering /statistics/ mathematics can apply and also who are in the final or pre final year of post graduation can also apply for the GATE exam.
• Candidates who are doing the five year Integrated masters degree program in the subject area of engineering or technology are also eligible to apply.
Since, you have completed your engineering in 2010; you are in all ways eligible to attend the GATE exam in 2012. There is no age limit for applying for the GATE exam. The candidates can apply for the GATE through online. More information regarding this exam can be obtained from the official website.

GATE is an exam conducted as an entrance exam for joining in M.tech in good colleges. This can be expanded as Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering.

The following are eligibility conditions for appearing in GATE 2012 :

1. You must be a bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/
Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of
such programmes.

2. Or You must be Master's degree holders in any branch of
Science/Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and
those who are in the final year of such programmes are also eligible.

3. Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated
Master's degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology are also
eligible.

4. Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master's
degree programme or Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology.

There is no age limit in GATE presently.But before applying you should check the information brochure as everything is written over there.

GATE exam is an entrance exam for M.tech course , which is conducted by IISC and IIT's jointly..

You want to know the age limit to appear in GATE exam...
Then my friend, you just don't bother about your age , because no such upper age limit is mentioned in the eligibility criteria of GATE..
So, one can appear in GATE exam at any age..

You just complete the bachelor's degree in fields like - BE/B.tech/B.Arch..
Or, You just complete the master degree in fields like- MBA/MCA/M.Sc..
Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam..

So, go for the exam..
