Information Regarding GATE Examination.

GATE examination is conducted by the management of IIT college for the admission in the M.Tech course in IIT college. Many other college also take admission in the M.Tech course through the GATE examination.

If you want to know the no. of attempt and age criteria for the GATE examination then here i give you the details information.

There are no limit of number of attempt and age criteria for the GATE examination so you can appear in the GATE examination at any age and many times according to own wish.

NOTE :- According to GATE-2012 notification the pre-final year candidates are not eligible for the GATE-2012 examination. Only final year and pass candidates are eligible to apply for the GATE-2012 examination.

Friend, there has no limit of attemp in GATE but you can start to try it from b.tech or MCA.

If you clear GATE, your rank would be valided 2 year...

GATE is graduate aptitude test for engineering..this exam is conducted for admission to various best colleges of India for M.Tech..you can get admission into various top IIT colleges and BITS and many more prominent colleges..
there is no age limit nor any restriction on the number of attempts one can make to clear GATE

To be eligible for GATE exams you need to do engineering or B.tech courses
being BSC dosent allow you for GATE exams
so you are not eligible for GATE entrance

* Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering / Technology / Architecture ( 4 Years after 10+2 ) and those who are in the final or pre – final year of such programs.

* Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC / AICTE ( e.g. AMIE by IE ( I ), AMICE ( I ) by the Institute of Civil Engineers ( India ) – ICE ( I ) ) as equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such Professional Courses are also eligible.

There is no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.

You can attempts GATE exam in many times.

GATE score is valid for only two years.

There are no age limit any body can apply here.

Yes, which IIT make paper for gate

Dear pal,
GATE is one of the prestigious exam conducted every year.GATE is the aptitude exam for the engineers.Graduate with GATE score are eligible for public sector units like NTPC,SAIL,BHEL,etc and they can apply for their masters in engineering with the GATE score.
The bachelor engineering degrees are eligible to appear for the exam.The final year students are also eligible to appear in the exam. Msc graduates with certain degree are eligible.
There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.
There is no restriction upon the number of attempts.
The gate score is valid for a period of two years.
The last date to apply for the current year exam is 24th of October and the exam is to be held on 29th of January

If you have completed your b.tech you can write the entrance exam of Gate .As you have completed part time course in B.tech you are eligible to write the gate entrance.
Gate is a complicated exam one need to work very hard to get seat in IIT's.
It is easy to qualify in the gate exam but getting seat in IIT's is very tough job.If you have got seat in any IIT's there is a good scope in future.
You can get high pay i.e 50,000 to 100000 rs per month.
There is a good scope in the future for the candidates who have finished M.Tech.

They have many opportunities in MNC companies and can work as lecturer in engineering colleges and also can work in many more software companies.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts a candidate can make. You just educationally qualified for taking GATE exam. Prepare well to score good.

Generally the gate exam is conduted for joing in the Master degree, but in 2012 some companies like BHEL, etc., has annouced that there are going to select the student based upon there gate performance for this case there will be a age limit base on the company rules. for pursuing of master degree through GATE there is no age limit and no limits for number of times we are attending the exam.

Also there is no age limit.
But the particular GATE score is valid for the following two years.

There is no age limit for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test Examination). A candidate may appear in this examination as their wish.

This year the GATE examination is held on 12th February,2012 and the result will be declared 15th March,2012. So please try it in the next year.

GATE exam is conducted by IIT's and IISC jointly every year for M.tech course in different specialization.

Eligibility for GATE exam:----------------

>>The candidate must have complete the bachelor's degree in fields like-- Technology/engineering/Architecture.
Or, The candidate must have complete the master's degree in fields like-- MCA/MBA/M.Sc..
>>Final year candidates are also eligible for the exam.
>>No number of attempt restriction.
>>No upper age limit..

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.

So, don't bother about the age limit and number of attempt restriction..
Just get prepare for the exam..

There is nothing mentioned about number of attempts one can make in GATE exam. That is the best thing and there is no age limit too. As of now, the organizers don’t maintain the database of student taking GATE exam and use it to verify that every time.

You can make as many attempts to GATE exam as you want. There is no limit on number of attempts in eligibility for GATE exam.
