No, you are not eligible for UGC NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for UGC NET exam is masters degree from a recognized University with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for UGC NET exam.

There are no age criteria for UGC NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

If you have qualify in UGC NET exam then you can apply for government sector jobs.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and the examination is conducted by UGC twice every year.

The examination is conducted for recruitment as assistant professor or as JRF. The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university with minimum 55% aggregate relaxation for reserved category.

There is no upper age limit for assistant professor. So, you are not eligible to appear for examination with bachelor degree qualification. For more information about examination visit at www.ugc.ac.in.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test and same is held by CBSE twice every year for recruitment of assistant professor or JRFs ( Junior Research Fellowship ) in various university approved by UGC.

The basic educational qualification required for appearing in the same examination is a Masters degree with at least 55% aggregate from recognized university. Further relaxation of 5% is allowed for SC/ST and PH category candidates.

Being a BA ( Bachelor of Arts ) degree holder you are certainly not eligible for NET but you are definitely eligible for government jobs like banking jobs, administrative jobs, defense services etc. as per your educational qualification by qualifying their respective entrance examinations.
