Am I eligible to complete 10th and 11th standard together if I have failed in 10th standard?
I failed class 10th due to performing not good in maths in a CBSE school. I did not repeat class 10th from the same school. My whole year got wasted. I am scared that if I repeat class 10th in the year my father would not let me study further. Can I complete my 10th and 11th together and get admission in class 12th in the year?

Re: Am I eligible to complete 10th and 11th standard together if I have failed in 10th standard?
No, you are not eligible to pursue 10th and 11th simultaneously from any recognised board.
The eligibility to get admission in 11th std is candidate must have passed 10th from any recognised board. So, you have to reappear and qualify in 10th to get admission in 11th and then only you are eligible to get admission in 12th std. For more information about admission details visit the school you are pursuing. |

Re: Am I eligible to complete 10th and 11th standard together if I have failed in 10th standard?
Sorry to say that without passing the exam of 10th std you will not be eligible for admission in 11th std.
According any educational board of India the students are nor allowed in higher class without passing in the previous class. Also there is a proper sequence and method to go into higher class. There is no profit in wasting your time so I will suggest you to go for re-admission in tenth class and clear your exam having a good marks. Then after you can go for admission in 11th std in Commerce, Science or Art Streams. |

Re: Am I eligible to complete 10th and 11th standard together if I have failed in 10th standard?
This is not possible because for admission in standard 11th in any board of education, the minimum academic qualification required is that candidate should have passed 10th from a recognized board.
You can not pursue both 10th and 11th together. You must pass 10th board exams first then only you can apply for 11th. The best option for you will be to appear for NIOS exams as it is conducted several times in a year. |

You can not appear for the Intermediate course with out the completion of the 10th class, the base for every class is the 10th class and after passing the 10th class only you can apply for the Intermediate course
As you are from the Central Board you have to complete your 10th class and then only apply for the Intermediate,Every college for getting admission in Intermediate 10th is necessary. |

Quote:
Because, without 10th marksheet you cannot take admission in 11th standard. So, firstly you will have to qualify 10th standard with a decent percentage. Then only, you can take admission in 11th standard. And then, finally 12th standard after passing 11th standard with good percentage. No, this provision is not present in any board of India.
You can not complete 10th and 11th together. First of all, you must secure pass marks in 10+2 then get admission in standard 11th in any board like CBSE, ICSE, NIOS or any state board etc. |

It is not possible to pursue 10th and 11th in the same year.
As per eligibility to get admission in 11th std candidate must have passed 10th from any recognised board, so without passing 10th you are not eligible to get admission in 11th. So, you have to first pass std 10th to get admission in 11th std. |

Re: Am I eligible to complete 10th and 11th standard together if I have failed in 10th standard?
I am sorry to say there is no such criteria of anyone being able to do 11th and 10th both in the same year.
It takes 2 seperate years no matter what state or college you belong to for completing 10th and 11th. If you want to give the 12th standard exam then you must give the 10th standard exams again and then 11th. |
