Sir,
I have stuided in Bangalore from Nursery to mid of 4th Standard in Ryan International School (ICSE) and then moved to Singapore and spend 4 years. Then we came back to Bangalore and joined Gopalan National School for 7th Standard. Currently I am in 10th Standard (ICSE) in the same school. So pl let me know if I am eligible to write Karnataka CET in local quota (planning to join and complete 11th and 12th Standard in Karantaka)? I have also heard that I will be considered as Local only when if I am in Karnataka continuosly for 7 years (without any breaks) by 10th Standard? Pl kindly confir. Thanks.

Eligibility Criteria for Applying KCET Entrance Exam

* To eligible for KCET, you need to have studied in Karnataka for minimum of seven years between your 1st grade till your 12th grade.

* Candidate must have completed XII class with maths and physics as a compulsory subjects.

Yes, you can apply for KCET only if you complete your 11th and 12th in Karnataka. You have completed your 6 years of education in Karnataka. if you complete your 11th and 12th in Karnataka, then you will complete your 8 years of education in Karnataka. so you can apply for KCET.

my son studying from 6th class in CBSE and he is going to study PUC also in karnataka.then is he treated as a local candidate
