Re: Am I eligible for doing CA after DCCP? Is polytechnic equal to intermediate?
Diploma is considered as equivalent to 10+2. After completion of diploma in computers, you can apply for first stage of Chartered Accountancy. Common Proficiency Test is the first stage of this course. CPT is conducted twice every year by ICAI in June and December every year.
CPT is an objective question paper exam. It has questions from accountancy, economics, mercantile law and aptitude. You need to focus on these subjects as you are new to these subjects. Minimum of 30% marks in each section and 50% aggregate is required to clear this test. You can apply for June 2018 CPT exam. |
