Graduate Aptitude Test in engineering is conducted every year for
selection of candidates for Master degree programs in various branches
of engineering. To apply for this examination a candidate needs the
following qualification.

Candidates of the final year and pre final year of engineering are eligible
to apply for this examination.

Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent are also eligible to apply for this exam.
Candidates of the final year and pre final year are eligible for this exam.

you are eligible for GATE exam. because the GATE exam criteria is given below.

1) B-TECH in any stream.
2)MASTERS degree with science stream
3)final year student are eligible.

so you are eligible for GATE exam.

Yes,after doing MSc in CS you will be eligiable for gate exam.

the GATE eligibility is given below

1.minimum graduation in engineering.

final year & pre-final year btech students are allowed to attain in the gate exam.

2.after doing msc, students are also eligible to attain in the gate exam.

there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam.

Yes, you are eligible for Gate as you have completed m.sc in computer science.
Gate is one of the toughest exams in India. It's syllabus is also vast. To crack this exam you should really work hard.
You should have complete idea of fundamentals. The questions of Gate is nothing else but various derivation of fundamentals.

no my friend sorry to say this but u are not eligible for the m.tech as it has been made compulsary by AICTE that all the b.tech students have to appear in the GATE exam for their m.tech degree...

also u have to score atleast 55% in schedule cast category and 60% for the general category at your graduation level...

i have 80 % in my graduation and now i'm pursuing msc computer science. am i eligible to appear in gate in 2014?

I did bca in 2011-2014 session n now i m doing MSC in cs one year is left of my pg. Can i give gate in upcoming exam of February 2016 n m i applicable for gate now
