Yes, you have adequate age qualifications to apply for NDA. For NDA, age of the candidate must be between 16 ½ and 19 years. If you wish to appear NDA 2013, your DOB must be between 02 January, 1995 and 01 July 1997. Eligible candidate must have completed 12th class. Those appeared for 12th class exam are also eligible.

If my dob is 17. 08.1997 and given the 10th exam this year . Can i give nda exam?

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year.NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army

Those candidate have 12th standard subjects Physics and Mathematics are applicable for Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army .Otherwise you are applicable only Indian Army post .

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate .

Your age now 19 years old so sorry to say that you are not applicable for NDA exam ,because your age is just border of maximum age .When this exam is conduct i think your age is over 19 years old .

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

NDA II 2013 exam notification is given below-

Last Date of Receipt of Application : 03.06.2013
Exam Date : 11.08.2013

You can apply in NDA exam through UPSC website through online .

From this year NDA application form must be submitted by only online system. The fees for NDA exam is 50/- . You can be paid the amount through SBI Debit/Credit Card or by SBI Net Banking or by depositing directly in SBI .

# Opponents must have finished their 12th standard with PCM for Navy/Air Force position from any approved institution.

The NDA Examination is conducted only for those candidates whose age lie in between 16.5-19 years and must have the following qualifications :

* The candidate must have passed 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

* Candidates who have not passed 12th with PCM are only eligible to apply for Indian Army.

* The candidate appearing in standard 12th can also appear in the NDA Exam.

* The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

* Only male candidates are eligible for the NDA Exam as Female candidates cannot apply for this exam as per UPSC.

Since your age is above 19 years and the next nda exam is to be conducted on 14th of April , 2013.

At the age of 19 years you should not attempt NDA exam as you may be over aged at the time of forthcoming Exam in the month of August 2013.

National Defence Academy(NDA) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate being an unmarried Indian Male having completed 12th in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

The registration process for NDA-I has already been completed, the exam for which will be conducted in April 2013 and as now you are 19 years you are not eligible to apply for NDA -II exam.

NDA stands for the National Defense academy examinations.For this examination the age limit for the candidate of any category is 16.5 to 19 years and one more thing that no relaxations are applicable to any one .

So sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear for the upcoming NDA exams.

Friend but do not get dishearted if you are so much interested in joining defense then there is one more option for you at bachelor's degree level that is Combined defense services .This examination is also conducted by the UPSC twice every year .

The difference is that bachelor's degree is the minimum educational requirement for this exam.

The age limit is :

For IMA it is 19-24 years and for the INA is 19-22 years and for the OTA is 19-25 years.

Note : One better thing about this exam is that both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for the exam.

You must be an Indian citizen and should be physically fit.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II by UPSC to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

The maximum age limit for NDA is 19 years and minimum age is 16.5 years which means an eligible candidate within the age of 16.5 to 19 years is eligible to apply for NDA and there is no upper age relaxation for any reserved category candidate.

Hence at the age of 19 years, you are having crossed the age limit to appear for the forth coming NDA-II exam which will he held in the month of August 2013.

Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with good Physical and Mental Fitness, can apply for NDA.

You cannot apply for NDA exams just after passing class 10th.

You need the below Eligibilty to apply for the NDA exams

Education:
Indian Airforce and Indian Navy Wing- 12th class or Intermediate Pass.In class 12th you should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths.
Indian Army- 12th class or Intermediate Pass in any stream

Age- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years
No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams
