I am studying in BE (3YR),AM i eligible in IBPS SO exam next year??

## The minimum educational qualification required to apply for IBPS SO(Specialist Officer) examination is graduation/engineering degree/masters degree in relavant discipline from recognised institution/university
## Age limit to apply for IBPS SO exam is 21-35 years and the age relaxations are as per the government rules
## So,it is sorry to say that,you are not eligible to apply for IBPS SO exam but you can apply for this exam after the completion of your B.TECH course

Since you are in the third year now therefore you are not eligible to sit for this examination. But once you complete graduation you can then easily sit for this examiantion. Here is the exam details for you in a glance.

IBPS Specialist Officers Common Written Examination is an examination which is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Lakhs of candidates every year appear for this examination. On passing this exam with good marks you will get the opportunity to work in the public sector banks which accepts IBPS Scores.

Here are the available posts at a glance:-

Scale I: Agriculture field officer, IT officer, law officer, technical officer, HR/personnel officer, Marketing.

Scale II: Finance executive, chartered accountant.

Eligibility:-

I.T. Officer:- You should have a four year engineering degree on IT/computer science/electronics or any other degree with DOEACC with level 'B' certificate.

Agriculture field officer:- You need a four year degree on agriculture or subjects related to agricultural science.

HR/Personnel officer:- Any UG or PG degree or diploma in Personnel management/ Industrial relations/Social work/Labour law

Marketing officer:- You need any degree and 2 yr MBA on marketing/PGDBA with marketing specialization

Law officer:- You need to have a degree in law and you should be enrolled as an advocate in Bar council.

Age Criteria:-

Lower age limit: 20 years
Upper age limit: 30 years

# IBPS stands for Indian Bank Personnel Selection and SO stands for Specialist Officer.

# Presently you are not considered eligible for appearing in IBPS SO Examination. Because your current educational qualification below the presecribed educational qualification.
