i am persuing BBA. i am in 3rd year(final year). can i apply for ibps paper?

Eligibility

1. You must of Indian origin.

2. A graduation degree in any stream in required.

3. Age limit is 20 to 30 years for the Bank PO.

4. The age limit is extended by 3 years for OBC.

5. Age limit for SC/ST is extended by 5 years.


Selection process for IBPS Exam is 1)Written Test 2) Personal Interview.

Pattern of IBPS clerk Exam:-

Reasoning test- 50 marks
English language test- 50 marks
Numerical ability test- 50 marks
General knowledge test- 50 marks
Computer knowledge test- 50 marks

Total time 2 hr 30 minutes

The first notification for the coming IBPS Clerical Cadre exam is out and this time
there has been drastic change in the eligibility criteria.

Earlier the required qualification was 10+2(or equivalent) but now the minimum required
qualification has been changed to Graduation.

"Final year students will be eligible or not?", has not been clearly stated in its notification.
But, I think final year students would not be eligible because IBPS generally does not
allow final year students of the qualifying degree.
The exam is to be conducted in December 2012 and after 2-3 months from the exam
results will be available and then application process of individual bank will start.
So final year students should be allowed but it's not clear yet.
It will definitely be clear before starting of the application for the exam.

IBPS- Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conduct the bank exam every year for PO and CLERK for 19 public sector of bank.

There are 19 banks which are merged in IBPS exam ....



Those candidate have completed 10th standard with above 60% OR 12th standard with 50% OR completed Graduation degree are applicable for IBPS clerical Exam.Your age should be in between 18 to 28 years old.

If you have completed graduation degree then you are applicable for IBPS PO Exam.Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.

Age relaxation for reserved category candidates is as follows:

3 years for OBC.
5 years for SC.
10 years for PWD.

Sorry to say that you are not applicable for IBPS PO exam because final year student are not applicable for IBPS PO exam.

But if you fulfill the IBPS clerk criteria then you are applicable for IBPS Clerk Exam .

Sorry, presently you are not eligible to apply for the IBPS CWE examination. I inform you that only graduation passed candidates are eligible for IBPS examination.

IBPS stand for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. The IBPS CWE examination is conducted twice in every year seperate for Clerk and PO post. There are many banks which take selection through the IBPS CWE score card. If you are interested to appear in the IBPS CWE examination then you need the following eligibility criteria :

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS CWE Examination:
--> Passed graduation degree in any discipline form a recognize University.
--> The age must be between 20 to 30 years at the time of examination.

NOTE :- Final year graduation candidates are not eligible to apply for the IBPS examination. Only passed candidates are eligible for IBPS CWE examination.

So, if you are in the final year of the BBA course then presently you are not eligible to apply for the IBPS CWE examination. First of all , i just want to tell you that you have asked an incomplete question as IBPS conducts the common written examination for Clerical as well as PO posts for 19 public Sector banks.

So , the eligibility criteria for Clerical and PO Posts are different from each other.

The Eligibility Criteria Required For IBPS Clerical Exam are :

* You must have passed 12th with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized board.

* Your age should lie in between 18-28 years.

* There is also relaxation in age provided to students of Reserved Categories.

yes you are eligible for ibps exam. Any stream student can give the ibps exam but he should be graduate first .Here are some criteria read it carefully

You will have to wait till completing the graduation course. Once you have completed the bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), you will be eligible for Clerk and Bank PO exams conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services (IBPS).

Although you are eligible for both the exams, I will recommed appearing for the IBPS Bank PO entrance exam. However for that you must first complete the graduation. The Bank PO entrance exam is conducted only once in a year in June/July.

Sorry to say dear but you are not eligible to apply for IBPS exams. The minimum eligibility required in terms of education is that the candidate must posses bachelor degree.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS written online exams-

-Candidate must be a citizen of India

-Candidate should have degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification to be eligible

-Age limit varies from post to post.

-Candidate must posses computer knowledge/diploma.

The selection procedure for all these positions is

You did not mention the specific position for which you want to apply for through IBPS Exam.

If you had mentioned that, I would have better suggested you as the eligibility criteria for each of these exams will be different.

However soon after the completion of your Graduation in BBA, you are eligible to apply for IBPS Clerk Exam and if you score more than 60% of marks in your Graduation, you are eligible to apply for PO positions.

Required age criteria will be as follows
For General category : 20-28 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category.

Have good preparation for this exam and crack it.
