Am I eligible for IFS entrance exam? I am a degree holder in B.Com
sie am degree holder in B.com.. am i eligible for IFS exam?? can i select forestry as my first optional subject and agricultre as my second optional subject ?? please do reply soon

IFS stands for the Indian Forest Services .The entrance exam for this exam is separately by the Union Public service Commission other than civil services exam. For this year IFS exam ,the preliminary test will same for both Civil services and forest services. The eligibility criteria for the IFS is as below: >>You must have a bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects like animal husbandry ,veterinary science,botany ,chemistry ,zoology,geology ,physics,chemistry ,or bachelor's degree in engineering or agriculture or forestry or its equivalent. So if you have studied any one of the subjects mentioned above in bachelor 's degree in commerce then you are eligible for the IFS exam. >>The age limit is 21-30 years on the 1st july of year of examination.OBC and SC/ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation in age . >>You must be an Indian citizen. Scheme of examination: 1.Written exam 2.Personal interview. Note:Yes you can take the forestry as first optional and agriculture as second optional subjects. Sir, I have B.D.S. Degree and I have studied one of the subject as ''biochemistry'' in b.d.s 2nd year of the degree.
So am I eligible for IFS EXAM as I had BIOCHEMISTRY in my 2nd year of B.D.S Degree. Please reply urgently. |
