Yes, why not, your diploma degree from the Karnataka State open University is valid for lateral entry admission in the Uttar Pradesh in bachelor of technology.

KSOU is recognized by the University Grants Commission and Distance education council.

You must appear for the Lateral Entry Entrance test. For LEET, you must have scored at least 60% in diploma overall.

Once you clear the LEET exam, you will be directly admitted to second year of engineering and you will be given stream of engineering depending upon your rank in exam.
