Yes, you can pursue MBA. The qualification for the program is a pass in any graduation. Some of the top colleges are demanding at least 50% of marks. There are various entrance tests to get admission into the course. Some of them are CAT, MAT, GMAT etc. Most of the b-schools are offering good placement after the completion of the program.

i ve completed my b.com from pune university with distinction marks(72%),after dat i va started doing job as account assistant.so i ve taken admission in Distance Mba (finance),but unfortunately i was not able to continued with my job because i ve to take care of my family...so i ve left my job..but i want to restart my career with good package.So what can i do to make my distance mba degree as equivalent to regular mba degree.

Yes, you are eligible to take MBA as a future career option. For a good b-school or college, you need to take exam like CAT,MAT,XAT,NIMS,SNAp etc . MBA stands for the Master of Business administration.At present it is one of the most preferable courses after bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

It is two year master's degree in business administration.

The eligibility criteria for the MBA are as follows:

1.Educational qualifications:

>>You should have done your bachelor's degree in any stream/discipline from a university that is recognized by the University Grants Commission and if from distance mode then it must be approved by the UGC and DEC that is distance education council of India.

Final year bachelor's degree candidates can also apply for this course.

So friend,if your college from which you have pursued your degree is recognized by DEC than you are eligible or not.

2.Age criteria :

The minimum age limit is 21 years and there is no upper age limit for this course.

3.Entrance examinations:

>>CAT: Common Admission Test.

Note: You must have secured at least 50% in graduation in order to be eligible for the CAT exams and for rest it is 45.

>>MAT: Management Aptitude test.

>>XAT: Xavier's Aptitude test
