i am commerce graduate and i want to do PG with history subject, will i be eligible for NET ?

Yes, you can attend NET in the subject studied under PG. Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks is the qualification required for attending NET. The exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year. NET qualified candidates are eligible for JRF and lectureship. There is no upper age limit for lectureship where as the upper age limit for JRF is 28 years.
