Am I eligible for UG lecturer post in different colleges for Commerce Stream after doing PG in Management, qualifying UGC NET, graduating in Commerce stream and Ph.D pursuing?


I am a post graduate in Management and UGC-NET qualified and graduate in Commerce stream and Ph.d. pursuing. Would I will be eligible for undergraduate lecturer in colleges for Commerce stream. please reply soon.

Hi,

You are qualified UGC-NET examination in management so you can eligible for lectureship in management.

You can not teach in Commerce stream in Government colleges in India without UGC-NET in Commerce.

Since you are postgraduate in Management you would have taken management as an option in UGC test. So basically you will be eligible for only this stream. But it is at the discretion of the management to offer the subject. It will be advisable for you to first join in and then request for this subject.

In which subject r u pursuing your phd,if it is a subject in commerce then u can apply in universty but not in colleges becoz university is an autonomous body,that is what i thnk
