Re: Am I eligible for next IBPS exam if I am 30 years old
Unfortunately you are not eligible for the banking exams by IBPS unless belongs to OBC or SC/ST. The age limit for IBPS Clerk is 28 years while for IBPS Bank PO its 30 years. However the next IBPS Bank PO exam will be conducted in June 2013.
By that time you will be 31 years old making you ineligible to appear for the entrance exam. Therefore you simply can not apply for any of the banking exams. In most cases you wont be eligible for any government job exam. Even in the case of Civil Service Examination while the applications forms are made available in the month of November /December, the age of the candidate is counted as on the August 1 of examination year. Which means that your age will be calculated as on August 1, 2013. At that time you will be more than 31 years old. Thus this makes you ineligible for even the Civil Service Examination. The only hope is if you belong to OBC/SC/ST/PWD. IBPS Bank PO Eligibility 1. The candidate should have bachelor degree. 2. There is no percentage criteria. 3. Age limit is 20 to 30 years. 4. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 5. SC/ST get 5 years relaxation. 6. Person with Disability gets 10 years relaxation. |
