Hi This is Ganesh,
Now I'm studying M.Sc IT(Information Technology) final Year. am i eligible for SET or NET Exam.If eligible please tell me some reference books which relevant to my field. and also tell me how to prepare for this exam.

You are in final year of your M.Sc in IT so you are eligible for UGC NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55%and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree.

Age criteria for NET exam:-

For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years.

For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria.

Yes you are eligible for NET (National eligibility test) and SET ( state eligibility test) if you are M.SC (master's in science) with minimum 55% from recognised University than you can appear for NET OR SET.
