If one is selected in group 1/2,does he still eligible to write upsc after getting job?

Yes you are eligible for appearing for UPSC exams if you are doing job.

1. The basic eligibility for UPSC exams is 12th and degree.
2. All the candidates can apply for UPSC exams after completing 12th or degree. Otherwise being in the final year also candidates can apply.
3. The candidates must be at least 16 1/2 for 12th qualification and 19 years for graduate.
4. The maximum age limit is 19 years for 12th candidates and 30 years for graduates.
5. However there is upper age relaxation provided up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

Yes, you are eligible for UPSC exams like Civil Service exam and CDS exam.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for Civil Service exam.

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 3
For OBC: 7
For SC/ST: No Restriction

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Indian naval academy: You should have completed engineering graduation or B.Sc with physics, mathematics subjects from a recognized university.

Indian Air force academy: You should have completed engineering graduation or B.Sc with physics, mathematics from a recognized university.

Indian Military academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Officers Training Academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Criteria:-

Indian Military Academy: - 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy: - 19-23 Years
Naval Academy: - 19-22 Years
Officer's Training Academy: - 19-25 Years
