i have secured 41.33 mark in gate 2011 for mechanical engg.. is there any possibility of getting a nit seat..

Sorry to say this having scored 41.33 marks in GATE you already lost your scope of getting into NIT. If you would have put in some serious efforts and worked hard , I am sure you would have easily cracked GATE.

Anyway there is no use brooding over the past faults. You can very well try in other self financing institutions , Deemed universities where the selection criteria is bound to their own institution.

I am sure you can get the course which you are looking in for i.e Mechanical Engineering in any of those private institutions. You try such institutions. If you want any help in identifying such institutions just message me back via the same forum and I will get you the university details in your locality.

hii, there are very good chances of getting seat in NITs , please apply for all and also apply in vtu colleges in case on safer side.
