B.Sc graduate can appear in GATE exam?
Am I eligible for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam with the qualification of just B.Sc. in Computers? Thank you for advice in advance.

The full form of GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.
Qualification required for GATE examination: Bachelor's degree in technology or engineering. Master of Science candidates can also apply for examination. B.Sc in Computer Science graduates can not apply for GATE exam. |

You are eligible for GATE exams if:
B.Sc. (Research)/ Bachelor of Science -Bachelor’s degree in Science (Post-Diploma/ 4 years after 10+2) . Your B.SC should be of Minimum 4 years. There is no maximum age to apply GATE exams are conducted by IIT Next GATE Exams applications will come in September 2018. |

No, the B.Sc. Computer graduates are not eligible to appear in GATE examination. Only candidates who have passed or pursuing final year of B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Sc. (Research)/ B.S/ M.Sc./ M.A/ MCA course are eligible to apply for GATE examination. So, being a B.Sc. Computer graduate, you are not eligible to appear in GATE examination.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree course in Science/ Technology/ Engineering from a recognised university are eligible to apply for GATE examination. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for GATE examination. So, being a B.Sc. Computer graduate, you are eligible to apply for GATE examination.

B.Sc (A Three Years Degree) graduates are not eligible for GATE.
GATE Eligibility - One must have passed B.E./B Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm from a recognized university. - You must have passed B.Sc (Research - 4 Years Degree) or B.S. from a recognized university. - You must have passed M.A./M.Sc/MCA in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent. |
