Hello,
I am a Btech graduate with percentage 57.2. I Gave gate exam and got a decent Gate Score.my question is whether i Am eligible for Gate stipend or not because i read in Iit kanpur website says that they are not going to give the scholarship for their students who got less than 60 percentage. I Am financially backwards so i Am so much dependent on this money. Any reply would be highly helpful for Me.

GATE stipend doesn't depends upon B.Tech degree marks. It is depends on GATE score. So definitely you will get stipend during your course.

Details of GATE exam is given below.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then are eligible for GATE Exam.

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.
