There are number of books in the market available out of which i will suggest you to refer R.S.AGARWAL for Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning (Verbal&Non Verbal).
For General Awareness you can follow books from Lucent also,for the current affairs part you can read the newspapers and listen to daily news. The easiest method to prepare for this exams is to PRACTICE and PRACTICE. Also try to practice previous years papers,you ca find it from http://allexamquestionpaper.blogspot.com also. Good Luck |

There are a no. of books available in the market for bank exams but all of them are not relevant. Selection of right book is the first step towards clearing the bank exam. So select the books carefully. Here, is a list of best books for clearing bank exam: quantitative aptitude - r.s.agarwal current affairs/GK - pratiyogita darpan magazine, newspaper verbal & non verbal reasoning - r.s. agarwal Also refer the previous year solved papers of bank exam. |

Which type of information you need you have not mentioned.
Generally reasoning qestions are of two types 1. It is verbal 2.It is non-vrebal there are different types of questions which are being asked in bank exams. You can refer the books of BSC publication or R.S. Agrawall |

i dont find rs aggarwal's book on quantitive aptitude very easy ... can u provide me with the name of any other book for quantitive aptitude. the methods followed in rs aggarwal's book are not very consistend and it becomes confusing . your help will be greatly appreciated

If you are interested in BANK exams, Then you will have to fulfill these criteria : Criteria for PO : 1.Academic qualification : the candidate should complete graduation with at least 50% marks. 2.Age limitation : The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years. Criteria for Clerk : 1.Academic qualification : The candidate must complete 12th standard with decent marks 2.Age limitation : the age of the candidate must be within 18 to 28 years.
