Is BBM a degree course or diploma? Whether a BBM qualified candidate is eligible to appear in IBPS exam? I have done BBM from Gulbarga university.

Yes, BBM is a degree course and a BBM candidate is eligible for IBPS exam after completion of BBM with 50% marks. So if you completed BBM with minimum of 50% marks then you are eligible for this exam. Thanks.

BBM stands for Bachelor of Business Management and as the name suggests it is a bachelor degree course of three years with good opportunities in management field.

Also IBPS refers to Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection and it conducts different bank examination for recruitment of bank clerks, bank probationary officer, bank specialist officer etc. for the different branches of nationalized banks of India.

Being a BBM degree holder you are eligible for appearing in IBPS bank clerk examination and IBPS bank PO examination as for these examination any bachelor degree holder from a recognized university are allowed to appear. Apart from this examination you can also appear in SBI bank examination for recruitment in branches of SBI.

As you are concerned about the applicability of your BBM degree having pursued it after your diploma degree instead of a regular higher secondary school degree course then I would like to clarify you that you must not worry on this issue as both these degree courses are equivalent to eachother.
