For the electronics students the competitive exams are DRDO, BHEL, BSNL, JTO,BANK PO, CDS, NAVY, all exam conducted by upsc. So for the preparation of these exam you need to have good general knowlege and current affairs. You can purchase books like Barron's Guide for about all the competitive exams. GK publication is also good books for the preparation of competitive examination.

You didn't mentioned here that you want books for which type of competitive exams.
