How to prepare for DCEE Exam?
Candidates who wish to join any of the undergraduate engineering programmes of the University of Delhi can attend the combined engineering entrance exam conducted by the University. In the total number of seats, about 85% is reserved for the Delhi born ones and the rest is allotted for the candidates from other states of the nation.

To get qualified in the highly competitive DCEE exam, a candidate must be well prepared. It requires a good effort from the applicant’s side to get an admission through the common entrance test conducted by the Delhi University.
Structure of DCEE
The DCEE exam consists of 60 objective type questions each having 4 alternate options. The questions will cover the subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidate has to point out the correct answer from the 4 options available for which he/she will be awarded 4 marks. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong response.
General guidelines to prepare for DCEE Exams
The candidate should have a thorough knowledge about the syllabus the exam. The candidates are advised to refer the previous year question papers to get an idea of the test. One has to work on the solved question papers so as to gain self confidence and also it will help the candidates mange the exam time properly and hence a lot of time can be saved. The candidate should also ensure that the books chosen by him are appropriate and authentic. Since the exam is highly competitive, preparation is a must. This helps candidates to attend almost all the difficult as well as simple questions.
Set up a full proof study Plan
A comprehensive study plan will certainly help the candidates crack the exam. Creating a proper time schedule and following it regularly will help the candidates to be prepared well. But the candidate should make sure that the timetable is in tune with ones own schedule and daily needs. The candidate should also find a comfortable zone for preparing. One has to find a calm and tranquil atmosphere suitable for studying. Combine studies along with friends may also help a lot. Ladders in preparing for the Engineering entrance exams
While preparing for the entrance test, the candidate can divide the topics into 2 sessions as hard part and easy part. They can complete the easy part first and then tackle the second tough part. One can also ask assistance from teachers or friends to study the tough part. The candidate can also arrange combine studies for tough portions which will make it easier. It is also important to take adequate breaks after completing a set of topics. Otherwise due to stress, they won’t be able to concentrate much on the topics.
