As you are from technical background it is better to enhance your skills in technical field.
There are many courses :
1.embedded systems
2.VSLI design
3.Control Systems
There are things you can do by appearing for GATE exam and Any PGSET exam.
There are also PSU sectors, Private sector also offering jobs after BTech
