You should only go for the M.Tech course if you are interested in the further education. Unless there is no need to do so since you will be able to get good job after completing the B.E. course.
I believe you should factor a lot of things. For example, do you want to do M.Tech in some other stream. In that case it is only wise to go for post graduation. You can also decide to do that if you are not being able to get the job. This generally happens when a candidate has scored less than 60 percent marks in the B.Tech. One thing you should understand is that in some cases M.Tech would not provide you much scope. Even after completing M.Tech you will be applying for the same jobs as after completing the B.Tech degree. Therefore in short, if you have completed B.Tech is Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Communicaton then you should first try for the job. If fail to do so only then apply for the M.Tech course. Alternatively if you want to shift branches, for example you are interest in Aerospace, automobile etc Engineering but have completed B.Tech is some other branch, then you can apply for M.Tech and pursue the course you love. In other cases you should first try for job. Now if you have scored 60 percent marks, then apply for the Public Sector Undertaking jobs. These are the jobs in companies where government of India is major stakeholder. You can apply for the entrance exam conducted for the job by PSUs. Eligibility 1. A B.Tech degree from recognized university. 2. 60 percent marks in B.Tech. 3. There should be no pending backlogs. 4. Age limit is 21 to 30 years. 5. For OBC - 21 to 33 years. 6 For SC/ST - 21 to 35 years. List of PSU ISRO DRDO SAIL BHEL ONGC GAIL NALCO BEL MTNL BSNL IOCL BPCL |

Hi friend
See in both ways you can be benefited. If you are going for job its fine. You can gather experience then you can move to better company or if you want to do mtech it can also give you a good opportunity to move on to good position in your future.Or if can score well in GATE then you can apply for big companies/PSU like Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), PowerGrid, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).So you can go either way.The other thing is that if you get good package job then only join it otherwise go for M.Tech. |

hello,
if you are asking that what is better? then my opinion is that you should have to go with M.TECH . ITS a master degree and after complete it you can get very good job and you can earn lots of money. but if you have some financial problem then you can apply for CORE JOBS LIKES:- SAIL BHEL GAIL ISRO DRDO NTPC NTPP OIL IOCL ONGC BEL POWER GRID POWER PLANTS but for the job you should have to passed engineering with 65%. you should have to give exam by the company. all the best thank you |
