Books to be referred for engineering services exam?


I am doing B.tech now. I want to do the preparation of engineering service exam. So I want to know the name of some books from where I can do my preparation easily and better.
Please tell me the name of some good books.

Qualification required: candidate having a degree in engineering in above branch and final year student/ last semester student also eligible for exam.

IES Exam (or Indian Engineering Services) has four categories:

>> Civil Engineering

>> Mechanical Engineering

>> Electrical Engineering

>> Electronics and Communication

Eligibility Criteria for IES Exam:

You must have completed Graduation in Engineering or you must be in the Final Year of Graduation.

Age Limit:

For General Candidates: 21 to 30 years

For OBC Candidates: 21 to 33 years

For SC/ST Candidates: 21 to 35 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 4

For OBC: 7

For SC/ST: No Restriction
