::UPSC-CSE 2012: Union Public Service Commission-Civil Service Examination 2012::

The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to the various Civil Services of the Government of India, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Revenue Service (IRS) among others.


Basic Eligibility Criteria for CSE:

• You should be Graduate in any specialization from recognized university.
  
• There is no restriction on Percentage.
  
• Both male & unmarried candidate can apply for this Exam.
  
• Final year graduate also eligible to apply.
  
• You AGe should be in between 21 to 33 years for General category( 21 to 35 for OBC, 21 to 35 for SC/ST category).
  
• You should be an Indian Citizen.

Civil Service Exam is divided into two stages:

-Preliminary Exam
(CSAT, Civil Service Aptitude Test)

-Main Exam
