Re: How to start preparation for IAS exam while pursuing CSE?
It is good decision that you would like to appear for IAS and to serve the country.
As a part of IAS, one need to go through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). The selection procedure will be by -CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) -Civil Services Main examination -Interview. The minimum eligibility with which a candidate can appear for IAS is through a graduation degree from a recognized university. One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for the exam. As you are still in the 2nd year of your CSE, you can start your preparation from now itself. Make sure that you will be strong enough in aptitude and general awareness by the time you complete your graduation because they are a part of CSAT exam |

Language: one of the Indian languages, English, Essay GK and Current Affairs: 2 papers on general studies Optionals: papers from two subjects that fall in optional-1 and two papers from optional-2 (a choice of subjects is listed by the UPSC in the prospectus) Candidates who are successful in the main examinations are eligible for an interview which plays a crucial part in the selection. Re: How to start preparation for IAS exam while pursuing CSE?
you will have to do hardwork. now you are pursuing engineering so, from now only regular and sincere study will help you to crack IAS in first attempt only.
Take good coaching if necessary, Don't hesitate to take coaching without coaching you cann't get exact pattern. Just you have to withstand yourself in the competition for this exam. About preparation material- RAU IAS STUDY CIRCLE,new delhi is the best coaching of india. so if you want material then you can go for that. If you are not taking coaching and wants to do self study then you may go for correspondence course of gud coaching. and all the best |
