Eligibility and books to be referred for IAS Preliminary exam
i am doing my final year engineering..am i elligible for writting ias preliminary xam?if am elligible means suggest me some books with publication name and author name

For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. The IAS selection process is consist in three way 1)Preliminary exam(This Exam is based on Objective type Question Paper) 2)Main exam (This Exam is subjective type) 3)Inter View. No Minimum Percentage Required Only Graduation Is Compulsory

The Eligibility Criteria for IAS Exam are : * You must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university. * Your age should lie in between 21-30 years. * There is also a relaxation in upper age for candidates of reserved categories as per the govt. rules. * You must have Indian Citizenship.
