Which branch of engineerin have better scope today ? Which are all the branches under engineerin have more importance ?

I think ECE is better,it deals with both hardware and software,and more placements.For girls it is better to take ECE,CSE,EIE. For boys CIVIL,MECH.Because these CIVIL and MECH are related to field work which is not possible for girls, it is better to take ECE
