I have completed my inter 2nd year with 97.4%.Now I wanted to know which branch suits for me.I show a bit larger interst in maths compared to other subjects.So please suggest which branch suits for me?

You have got very good marks in class 12th or Intermediate. Your marks says that you are really a good student with sharp mind .I think you want to take admission in B.Tech courses and is confused about choosing branch .

Since you are interested in mathematics ,the best branch for you will be undoubtedly Mechanical or Civil. I hope you will feel comfortable in these branch as compared to other branch .Other branches like- CSE,EEE,ECE,IT doesn't contain maths for all 4 years .

Since you are a good student i will advice you to prepare for entrance exams like IIT-JEE and AIEEE .After getting good marks in these exams, you will get better colleges for your study.



The decision depends upon you .I think i had guided you

It doesnt matter your Inter percentage to select Branch In Btech

It only depends upon your Eamcet Rank and the on your interest only

Ofcourse,,With your Percentage i think EEE or ECE is Most suitable for u

congratulations for scoring such a merit score in inter.Though you have said that you have interest in mathematics that is not sufficient to judge your capabilities because mathematics will be there in mostly all of the core branches.for example if you are interested in mechanics part of physics go for mechanical branch,if you are interested in electromagnetism,induction etc.go for electrical...if you are good at logical reasoning you can always opt for electronics and my suggestion for ou is to go with electronics as that involve much of logical reasoning which is much similar to mathematics

with 97% in 12th..you can get any college for B.Sc. if you want..you can apply for St. Stephens which is perhaps the best college in India..in B.Tech,there is no branch which uses completely maths..but if you take maths hons. as your subject in B.Sc. then you will be having a great advantage

i am interested in subjects like physics and maths which is the best branch in engineering that suits me?
