sir, i want to know that wether b.tech 3rd year student can apply for afcat exams.

Eligiblity for AFCAT is
60% in graduation..level......

You can apply in 4th year but not in 3rd year as you need to give proof of study certificate that you are either studying in final year or completed you studies...

Syllabus of AFCAT:--

• Reasoning
• Verbal ability
• General Awareness
• Numerical ability
• & General Aptitude.

You have one more year for preparation so prepare well and then apply for Exam..

No, my friend, only final year candidates can appear in AFCAT exam.

So, you can appear in AFCAT exam next year.

AFCAT exam is an entrance exam to join in different section of Air force..

1.Ground duty branch:-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.
Age should be in between 19-24 years.

2.Flying branch:-

Candidate have to complete the graduation in any trade but must have maths and physics in 12th.
Age should be in between 19-22 years.

3. Technical branch:-

Candidate have to complete the graduation in engineering field.
Age should be in between 18-28 years.

You can go for any of these..

You must be an Indian.

Educational Qualification

The candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline with science as their main subjects at their 12th class. Post graduate students can also apply for AFCAT.

Age Factor

The candidates should have the age limit between 20-27 years.

Dear friend,

3rd year student are not eligible for AFCAT exam.after completion of your garduation degree you are eligible for AFCAT exam

The eligibility criteria is given below

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria:

Ground Duty Branches –
AGE:20-27 years of age.
EDUCATION: Post graduation or Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks.

Flying Branch –
AGE:19 years to 23 years.
EDUCATION:B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

Technical Branch –
AGE:18-28 years of age

I am persuing BBA and this is my last semester can i apply for the AFCAT.plz let me knw about this..i want to apply for the upcoming AFCAT exam..

i am in bsc.4th sem can i apply the afcat exam in july 2012 for flying branch because my hight is 59 c.m.

I have just passed btech 3rd yr ece..so am i eligible?

After completing graduation you can most definitely apply for AFCAT. Since you are in the third year right now therefore you are not eligible at the moment.

AFCAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. This exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force. Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch are the three branches you can enter on successfully cracking the exam.

Eligibility For Flying Branch:-

Educational Qualification:- You need to be a graduate in any discipline or have a BE / B Tech degree from a recognised University with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Age Criteria:- 19 to 23 years

Eligibility For Technical Branch:-

Educational Qualification:-

1. For Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics):- You should have a 4 years degree qualification from a recognized Institution or passed Sections A and B exam of AMIE India or Aeronautical Society.

2. For Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical):- You should have a 4 years degree qualification from a recognized institution or passed Sections A and B examination of AMIE India or Aeronautical Society of India.

Age Criteria:- 18 to 28 years

Eligibility For Ground Duty Branch:-

Educational Qualification:-

1. For Administration & Logistics:- You should have a graduate Degree with at least 60% marks or a Post Graduate Degree / equivalent Diploma with at least of 50% marks aggregate.

2. For Accounts:- You should have a graduate Degree in Commerce (B Com) with a minimum of 60% marks or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M Com) / CA / ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

3. For Education:- You should have a Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.

Age Criteria:-

1. For Graduate- 20 to 23 Years
2. For Post Graduates / LLB (5 years integrated course)- 20 to 25 Years
3. For LLB (3 years course after Graduation)- 20 to 26 Years
4. For M Ed / Ph D / CA / ICWA- 20 to 27 Years

Exam Pattern:-
