Re: Can a B.Tech student apply for B.Ed course? What is the procedure?
for B.ed course the minimum eligibility criterion is you should have minimum of bachelor degree with minimum of 50% marks if you belongs to general category. for reserved candidate there is relaxation of 5% marks.
as B.Tech degree is a bachelor degree so B.Tech students after completion of their B.Tech may apply for B.ed if you fulfill the other eligibility criterion. here i am attaching one file containing all details about the B.ed in Delhi University. go through on this to get general eligibility criterion and other details about B.ed. |

Re: Can a B.Tech student apply for B.Ed course? What is the procedure?
The minimum eligibility criteria for getting admission in the BEd courses are Bachelor's degree.
So according your question a B.Tech degree holder is eligible for the admission for the BEd courses. But remember one thing that there are some of the institute which organize test for the admission such as the IGNOU ,and there eligibility criteria also demands some experience. So for certain institutes the only B.Tech degree in no sufficient. But there are some of the institute which also do no teke any exams for there admission of the students. |

Re: Can a B.Tech student apply for B.Ed course? What is the procedure?
As long as you are meeting all the criteria, surely you are eligible for Bachelor of Education course. Although this is not something I will recommend to you. The salary offered to school teachers isn't great.
Therefore unless you have great desire to become teacher, this is not a profession I will be recommending to you. Anyway as I mentioned that you must meet the criteria to apply for the Bachelor of Education. B.Ed is generally 1 to 2 years long course. The duration increases when applied through correspondence. However only candidates with prior teaching experience can apply for Bachelor of Education through correspondence. Depending on the degree of the candidate, he/she is trained to teach certain subjects. The Engineering graduate will be trained for science related subjects. Eligibility 1. You must have graduation degree. 2. At least 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. OBC candidate need 45 percent marks. 4. SC/ST need 40 percent marks. 5. The educational pattern of the candidate should be 10+2+3. There are various entrance exams that are conducted for bachelor of education. You will have to appear for entrance exam of your respective state in order to get the admission. |
