Re: Can I appear for Bank PO Exams having completed Graduation with 53% of marks?
Yes. You are eligible to appear for Bank PO Exams as you have scored 53% of marks in your Graduation.
The selection procedure for Bank PO positions is by -Written Exam -Interview. The written exam consists of questions from the following categories -Reasoning -Quantitative Aptitude -General Awareness -General English -Computer Knowledge In addition, there is a descriptive test which also the candidate has to get through. One has to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through the written test. Candidates who have qualified in the written exam will be called for Interview in 1:3 ratio. So, a mere qualifying in written exam may or may not fetch you call for the Interview. So, try to score good number of marks in the written exam. Here is the eligibility criteria that one should possess to be eligible for Bank PO Exams. -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. -Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation are also eligible to appear for Bank PO Exams but they should have to show the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview. As per age criteria, -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for Bank PO Exams. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category. From the previous academic year, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of PO positions for 19 public sector banks. I suggest you to have good preparation for this exam and crack it. For updated information on Bank PO Exams, you can visit http://www.bankexamsindia.com/ |

Re: Can I appear for Bank PO Exams having completed Graduation with 53% of marks?
dear friend,
My friend the aggregate percentage criteria varies from bank to bank.. Generally most of the banks mentioned the eligibility criteria as follows:--- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university. 2.Final year candidates can also apply for the exam. 3.Candidate must have 60% aggregate through out the career. For SC/ST the percentage relaxation is 5%.. 4.Candidates age should be in between 21-35 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. 5.Candidate must be computer literate. 6.Candidate should be a citizen of India. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. As you have secured 53% aggregate in graduation then you are not eligible for the exam. All the best.. |
