i have qualified in 12th in 2012. can i appear in iseet 2013?...please tell me

Yes you can definitely appear for the exam next year. Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test (ISEET) is the proposed entrance exam for B.Tech that would be introduced from next year (2013) by the Ministry of Human Resources and Deveopment.


In its first year ISEET entrance exam would be accepted with the Indian Institute of Technology and the National Institute of Technology. However the Ministry of Human Resources and Development want all entrance exams for engineering in the country to be replaced by the Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test.


Therefore from next year onwards you will not be able to appear for entrance exams such as:


IIT-JEEE

AIEEE


In place of these entrance exams, government has introduced Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test. The idea behind ISEET is One Nation, One Exam. Ministry of Human Resources and Development want all states to accept the ISEET entrance exam.


While some states like Gujarat has accepted the proposed entrance exam, there are some states who still have reservation against it. On the other hand few states want to wait at least couple of years before introducing the ISEET.



Eligibility

1. Must complete 12th with PCM as the subjects.

2. At least 40 percent marks in 12th board.



Exam Pattern

There would be two papers in the ISEET exam. Both will be conducted on the single day.


1) ISEET Main

Reading Comprehension & Critical Thinking

Logical Reasoning


2) ISEET Advance

Problem Solving Ability in Basic Science Subjects

(ISEET) Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test conducted admission in IITs and NITs in either March or April 2013.


Eligibility

Candidate should be 12th pss in PCM as the subjects with minimum 40% marks.

ISEET Test Pattern (Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test):

ISEET will have two papers on the same day.

ISEET Main:

Duration of ISEET Main – 3 hours
Paper-Test Pattern of ISEET Main – Areas Tested at ISEET: Reading Comprehension & Critical Thinking and Logical Reasoning
Weightage to ISEET Main: 30% minimum

ISEET Advance:

Duration of ISEET Advance – 3 hours
Paper-Test Pattern of ISEET Main – Areas Tested at ISEET: Problem Solving Ability in Basic Science Subjects
Weightage for ISEET Advance: 30% minimum

Dear friend,

Yes you can appear in ISEET exam after qualifying in 12th. In the previous years you have to appear in two different exams IITJEE and AIEEE in order to get admission in IITs and NITs. But now 2013 onwards you have to appear in only one exam, i.e., ISEET exam to get admission in IITs and NITs. From 2013 Onwards JEE(Joint Entrance ExaM) is not going to be conducted as ordered by HRD, Ministry. In Place of JEE & AIEEE , only one entrance exam is going to be conducted named as ISEET.

ISEET stands for Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test. Now you don't have to fill two other forms for two different exams. ISEET is a National Level engineering test Conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education to select candidates for Admission to engineering course in IIT's & NIT's.

Eligibility Criteria:-

In order to appear in ISEET exam you have to secured atleast 40% Marks in 12th Board Exams from a recognized board.

>>The candidate should complete 12th with Phys,CheM as the subjects.

>> The candidate should be score 40 percent marks in 12th board.

>>The candidate must be citizenship of India

Yes, of course ,you are eligible for the ISEET exam after 10+2 because the minimum academic requirement for this exam is 10+2 from a recognised board.

Note : Your subjects combination must include PCM with english.

>>% of marks in 10+2 should not be less than 50.

ISEET stands for the Indian Science engineering entrance test.It is to conducted from the year 2013 by the central board of secondary education.

From the year 2013 ,there will be no separate IIT-JEE exam or AIEEE exam or any other examinations.ISEET ranks will decide the college which you will get for the bachelor's degree in technology.
